North Carolina is currently considering legislation to allow video lottery terminals (“VLTs") in licensed establishments. Should the State approve regulated VLTs, you'll want to be prepared to take advantage. There's no better way to prepare than partnering with Lucky Lincoln Gaming.
If the state greenlights regulated VLTs, seizing the opportunity early could set you ahead of the curve. There's no more reliable partner in this endeavor than Lucky Lincoln Gaming.
At this juncture, with no legislation officially in place, the details concerning eligible locations for VLT installations are still to be determined. Similarly, the precise limit on the number of VLTs each venue can host remains undecided. For a bit of context, consider Illinois' approach: there, a variety of establishments including bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and truck stops are permitted to install up to six VLTs, while larger truck stops have the capacity to feature as many as 10.
Under the bill, 32% of revenue from the machines would go to a newly created North Carolina Video Lottery Fund. Another 8% would be collected for administrative expenses by the Lottery. Operators would get 35% of revenue, while 25% would go to merchants.
